My main goal was to drop the 6 pounds I gained during the COVID-19 quarantine when I ate ALL THE THINGS. I’m happy to say that in 4 weeks of following the diet plan, I’ve lost 4 pounds. As I mentioned earlier, I lose weight very slowly, so a pound a week is great for me and proves that the science behind this book really does work.

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night. That’s what I’ve been doing and as you can see, it’s been working.

Bestselling author, Joel Marion, is a fitness expert and nutritionist debunking the myths underlying traditional dieting and offers a simple, highly effective weight loss program so I was intrigued when I was given a chance to get an early copy of the book and try out the program. I found it surprisingly easy to follow. I liked having a meal plan to follow along and now that I’ve been following the prescribed meal plan for two weeks, I feel confident doing this on my own.

Always Eat After 7 P.M. Final Update 1

The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, and The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good. I’ll stay in The Main Phase for a couple of weeks more and then move on to The Lifestyle Phase.

The Lifestyle Phase is really very simple: just keep doing what I’ve been doing. You can have larger portions and you’re allowed cheat days every now and then. That’s really that plan I was following to maintain my weight before the quarantine so I should be just fine now that I’ve gotten back on track, especially since I’ve added some delicious and filling foods to my diet arsenal. As a pasta lover, I loved all the pasta substitutions, especially the Ground Beef with Tomato Basil Sauce which uses Butternut Squash instead of lasagna noodles so you can eat as much as you want for barely any calories.

In summary, I’m so glad I was asked to try out this book and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. If you try it out, definitely let me know what you think!
