Amazon is great place to get Korean Beauty products, which are so popular right now, and to check out small or indie makeup brands that don’t have national distribution. Just be careful when you’re shopping because the site does have a big problem with unreputable third-party sellers delivering counterfeit and inferior products. I can confirm that I received legitimate products from all the links I’m sharing today.
Korean Beauty for the win once again! This is a mineral sunscreen so it protects by placing a physical barrier on your skin rather than using any chemicals that may be harmful. However, it doesn't leave a white mask on my fair skin like other mineral sunscreens can. If your skin tone is darker, you may want to test it out and make sure it works for you.
I noticed some of the reviews mentioned issues with makeup staying on when using this sunscreen. I haven't noticed that at all but if I'm wearing foundation, I tend to wear a primer over the sunscreen and under the foundation so perhaps that's why I haven't had any problems.
This mascara is only 4.99 and it's my go-to mascara for those days when I really want to go with the long, lush lashes look. The label that says "false lash effect mascara" isn't kidding around here.
I used to use It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara when I wanted that "real lash or falsies?" look but besides being $20 cheaper, this mascara doesn't clump like the Superhero mascara tends to do. Highly recommend.
You guys, this stuff is literally magic. I suffer from allergies that make my eyes constantly red - not just a little red, but scare small children red. No eye drops ever actually make my eyes look white so I'd heard good things about these drops, but pretty low expectations.
I was putting on my makeup in the bathroom the first time I used these and after I put the drops in my eyes, I looked down for a second and then looked back up at the bathroom mirror. I actually jumped because looking back at me where pure white eyes that I'm not sure I could even get with Photoshop and IT JUST TOOK SECONDS TO HAPPEN!
The effects last for hours. The descriptions says they'll last up to 8 hours. I'm not sure I've gotten that long, but they certainly last a while.
Every now and then I'll look in the mirror and realize I've been neglecting my skin care. When that happens, I get whiteheads on my cheeks, general yucky bumpiness around my nose, and my skin starts to look a little dull.
That's when I know two things - 1) time to make sure I get back on my regular self-care routine of removing my makeup and taking care of my skin every night and 2) time to get out the Healing Clay.
This clay mask really cleans out your pores like it says, removing any whiteheads or clogged pores, and it brightens your complexion while making your face feel smooth and soft. I'll put it on until it hardens and then I'll remove it in the shower by letting the warm water soften the mask and rinse it away so I don't have to tug at my skin to remove it.
Warning: this mask does tingle, especially if you mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar as recommended. I don't think it's any big deal, but my daughter screamed and washed it off after two minutes so just be forewarned.
You need this product in your life If, like me, you routinely bleach your hair multiple shades lighter. My poor hair used to be really like straw until I started using this once a month or so. It's not a hair conditioner; instead, it rebuilds the broken protein bonds in your hair to make it stronger again after being weakened by bleaching.
My idea of a perfect #selfcaresundy is to slather this on my damp hair for a few hours along with a healing clay mask and relax with a nice cup of tea and a good book. I think #selfcaresunday might be calling my name.
