Is there anything more humbling than trying on a batch of swimsuits in a department store fitting room? The lights seem designed to highlight every bit of cellulite and every sagging body part.
No thanks! I’m not interested in being traumatized when I’m swimsuit shopping. Instead, I ordered a variety of bathing suits to try on at home. And because I love my readers, I did a vulnerable thing and shared a few of my favorites.

I have never had what most people would call “a waist.” Even at my thinnest, my body shape is pretty just straight up and down. So I’m always interested in anything that helps define my waist.
This Miraclesuit is perfect for those of us trying to fake some curves. The Miraclesuit fabric acts like shapewear to trim your waist. And the pattern on the side draws your eye in at the waist.
This suit runs a bit big. I normally wear a 12 or 14 in swimsuits and I’m wearing a size 10 in that picture.
Because it’s high waisted this suit is a great choice if you want to cover a larger tummy.

This isn’t the best look for me. I have a pretty straight up and down figure and this suit makes me look small on top and big on the bottom. That’s the opposite of what I want!
However, this suit is really flattering on women with more proportional figures. Look how good it looks on a woman with a larger bust and hips. It looks equally amazing on women with smaller bust and hips.

Y’all. This suit looks amazing on literally everybody. And I know, because everytime I go swimming – no matter where I am – I see at least one other person wearing this suit.
