Yay – It’s Amazon Prime Day once again. Amazon Prime Day is an annual shopping event exclusively for Amazon Prime members. Eligible customers can enjoy exclusive discounts and deals on a range of items, including electronics, home goods, fashion, and more. This year’s event starts at midnight July 8 (today!) and runs through July 11.
Lots of items are deeply discounted during Amazon Prime Day. Plus, other retailers like to get into the act as well. Target is currently running their Target Circle Days. Best Buy is holding Black Friday in July. So there are tons of deals you can grab now. With the current inflation we’re experiencing, I’m planning to do a good bit of my Christmas shopping right now and then hold on to everything until the holidays since I can’t really expect prices to be lower then!
Amazon Prime Days officially starts tomorrow (July 11th), but lots of deals have already started happening! Here’s an overview of what’s on sale now. Keep checking back as I’ll continue to update this throughout this week.
Do You Have to Be an Amazon Prime Member to Get These Deals?
Yes, you must be a member of Amazon Prime in order to get the deals offered on Amazon Prime Day. But you don’t have to pay for Amazon Prime. Just sign up for the Amazon Prime 30-day Free Trial and you can start saving right away. If you aren’t happy with the program, you can cancel before your 30-day trial ends.
Deals For the Home & Kitchen
- Instant Pot Pro 9-in-1. If you still haven’t jumped on the instant pot bandwagon, this is the perfect time. This version is being offered up at nearly 50% off.
- Instant Vortex Air Fryer. And this air fryer is a smoking hot deal. We use ours at least once a week.
- Hydroponic Indoor Garden. I’ve been a fan for a long time. In fact, at one point I literally had five different hydroponic gardens stationed throughout my house. If you’ve wanted to give it a try, this one is a great deal for an entry level model.
- Bartesian Cocktail Maker Machine. I mean – how fun is that? I may have to cave and buy one of these.
- SodaStream Terra. I love our SodaStream. Always fresh sparkling water – perfect for making mojitos!

- roborock Robot Vacuums. I have a real sweet spot for my own robot vacuum, and think every house should have one. This is the mac daddy of robot vacuums, with both vacuuming and mopping functions!

- Cupshe Bathing Suits. I’ve had great luck with bathing suites from Cupshe. Lots of cute styles, they are generally well made for the price, and have many styles that are great for us older women.

Tech Deals
- Echo Show 8. This is a great deal for the Echo Show. I keep mine on the kitchen counter and use it for all kinds of things from setting timers to keeping my shopping list.
- Alexa Voice Remote for Fire TV. If you use both a Fire TV and Alexa device at home, you need this remote in your life. When you lose it, you can simply ask Alexa to ring it for you. We lose ours at least twice a week.
- Blink Security Cameras. We use these for our own home and I love them for the sheer simplicity. No wires. Just plug it in and go.
- Apple AirPods Pro. I finally broke down and purchased a pair of these earbuds last year for my birthday and I’m so glad. They fit great, the sound is crystal clear and you really do get what you pay for. My old cheapo earbuds always stopped working after a few months but my airpods are still going strong after a year.
- JBL Earbuds. These are such a great affordable alternative to Apple AirPods, and they are an extra 30% off at the time I’m writing this.
- Samsung 49″ Odyssey Curved Monitor. As a blogger, I’m literally drooling over this monitor.
- HP 24″ Monitor. For a more down to earth monitor choice, this HP one is the best deal going.
- ASUS Laptop. If a new laptop is on your shopping list, this Asus one is a nice option. This would also be great for sending off to school with your college student!
